The entrance to MAMAC is located on place Yves Klein, Nice
For security reasons, in case of rain or bad weather the terraces are closed to the public


The whole museum (except from the terraces) is accessible to people with reduced mobility : lift available on the street level, located next to the Promenade des Arts car Park.

Covid-19 information

The City of Nice and MAMAC have made every possible effort to adapt the measures recommended by the health authorities and thus reinforce your safety and ours, to preserve the health of all.

In accordance with the standards defined by the health authorities, the barrier gestures, which are now part of our daily life , are reinforced by additional safety measures that we invite you to respect for your safety and ours. Let’s take care of ourselves. Let’s be responsible.

  • The number of people in the museum is regulated
  • Wearing a mask (not provided by the museum) is mandatory for our teams and for visitors from 11 years old (from 6 years old during school trips)
  • A physical distance of at least one metre from other visitors and from our teams must be respected
  • Hydroalcoholic gel is available at the entrance of the museum
  • Plexiglass physical barriers on the reception desks are in place
  • The cleaning to disinfect our equipment such as handles, reception desks, physical barriers, sanitary facilities, is reinforced
  • Circulation in the exhibition spaces is one-way
  • The lift is limited to the use of people with reduced mobility and strollers. Access limited to 1 person + 1 accompanying person if needed
  • A distance of 3 steps in escalators and stairs must be applied
  • The barrier gestures are highlighted by a dedicated signalling system
  • For the purchase of your entrance ticket, contactless payment is to be preferred as well as online payment
  • Holders of the Pass Musées de Nice card for people from Nice and metropolitan France are invited to take their pass with them
  • The shop is open, payments by cards is preferred
  • Caution, lockers and cloakrooms are closed, no bags or clothes are allowed; access to the museum areas is not allowed to people carrying backpacks and/or helmets
  • Our teams are trained to welcome you in the best possible conditions

COVID-19 Health Certificate

From 21 July 2021, the Health Certificate will be extended to all leisure and cultural venues with more than 50 people.  In accordance with government directives and the museums of the city, access to the museum for all adults will be on presentation of a Health Pass in the form of a QR Code in paper format or downloaded in the TousAntiCovid Carnet application:   

  • Vaccination certificate
  •  Or certificate of negative RT-PCR or antigenic test less than 48 hours old
  •  Or RT-PCR or positive antigenic test certificate of at least 11 days and less than 6 months old

We also invite you to bring an original proof of identity in addition to the Health Pass.  The conformity of the Pass will be checked at the entrance according to the sanitary rules in force, a control that may slightly increase the access time to the current exhibition. This check will not read your health information or store any data.  Please note that this does not apply to children under 12 years of age. Also, at this stage, 12-17 year olds remain exempt from the Health Pass until 30 August.

Guided tour for individuals every Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. in French and at 4 p.m. in English.
Single price of 6,10€ per visit – free for children under 13


Guided tour for groups by reservation, Tuesday to Friday
Price 83,50€ per group (from 10 to 30 people)

School groups part of Métropole Nice Côte d´Azurn : free
(primary, secondary and University during school hours and for childcare facilities off school time)
School groups not part of Métropole Nice Côte d´Azur : 20,50€
