To begin the new season 2022-2023 of Le temps du vivant cycle, with the partnership of the MAMAC, the Villa Arson invites the artist Zheng Bo.
Within the artists of the “Becoming flower” exhibition presented at the MAMAC until 30 April 2023, Zheng Bo offers a lecture in English called Art as more-than-human vibrancy :
Through drawing, dance and film, Zheng Bo cultivates intimate relations with plants. These relations are aesthetic, erotic, and political. For him, art does not arise from human creativity, but more-than-human vibrancy. For this talk, he will focus on recent projects such as “Wanwu Council” presented at the Gropius Bau in Berlin in 2021 and “Le Sacre du printemps (Tandvärkstallen)” presented at the 59th Venice Biennale this year.
